From here, you can see the entrance to our neighbour's house and the fronts of 2 houses across the street. After smoking almost continually when the anxiety set in, I began to observe the comings and goings of the people in the street. I started to detect when the mums strolled their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the dog for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would find myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies tackled their everyday routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who stroll past the home. I began with a friendly hello and advanced to the point where I usually stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. A lot of individuals would disrupt me now, and say that the majority of ladies at house do what I do, talk and stop with the other women. It's a really small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 separated (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited house, and then beside that is. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a huge Irish woman in her 60's. Last on this site is the removed home where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage children.

On the right-hand side of the road, we start with Linda's home. She recently separated from her hubby and remains in the procedure of moving.
