With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would find myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies tackled their everyday regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who walk past the house. I began with a friendly hey there and advanced to the point where I usually walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most people would interrupt me now, and state that a lot of females at home do what I do, chat and stop with the other women. It's a extremely small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 removed (that's 5 structures in all).
