We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without providing it a second thought. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would find myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies went about their everyday routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of the people who walk past your house. I began with a friendly hi and advanced to the point where I usually stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many people would interrupt me now, and say that a lot of women at home do what I do, stop and talk with the other women. I have two replies. On the right-hand side of the road, we begin with Linda's home. She recently separated from her partner and remains in the process of moving. She remains in her mid 30's and has 2 pre-teen daughters Emma and Becky. Next is our house. I have not presented myself yet, so now would be a great time. I'm John (28 ), and I deal with my mum Chrissie (45) and father Bob (52 ). Next along are some newcomers.
