In the 3rd week, a malaise started to creep in. I had absolutely nothing to do, nowhere to go, and loads of time to eliminate. I started to get depressed.

We have a no cigarette smoking policy in our house, implemented on the majority (me & my daddy) by the minority (my mom). From here, you can see the entrance to our neighbour's home and the fronts of two homes across the street. I started to select up on when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the pet dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the individuals who stroll past the home. I started with a friendly hello and advanced to the point where I normally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most people would disrupt me now, and state that a lot of women at house do what I do, talk and stop with the other ladies. It's a very small street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 removed (that's 5 structures in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited house, and after that next to that is. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a huge Irish lady in her 60's. Last on this site is the separated house where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage kids.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we start with Linda's home. Next is our home. Last on the row was a chap who worked someplace in the City.
