All of us support this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without giving it a second thought. Here's where I vary from the rest of you. Up till September, I had been similar to you. We have a no smoking policy in our house, imposed on the bulk (me & my daddy) by the minority (my mother). This means that whenever we wish to smoke, we need to stand at the back door. From here, you can see the entrance to our neighbour's house and the fronts of 2 houses across the street. After smoking cigarettes almost constantly when the anxiety set in, I began to observe the comings and goings of the people in the street. I began to pick up on when the mums strolled their kids to school when they returned when they headed out shopping, when they took the dog for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would find myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies set about their day-to-day regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the individuals who walk past the home. I started with a friendly hello and advanced to the point where I typically walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. A lot of people would disrupt me now, and state that most ladies at home do what I do, talk and stop with the other females. It's a extremely small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 removed (that's 5 structures in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a vacant home, and then beside that is. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a big Irish female in her 60's. Last on this website is the detached home where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage sons.

On the right-hand side of the road, we start with Linda's home. Next is our home. Last on the row was a chap who worked somewhere in the City.
