We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without offering it a 2nd idea. I started to pick up on when the mums strolled their kids to school when they returned when they headed out shopping, when they took the pet for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would discover myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these women set about their day-to-day routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of individuals who walk past the house. I started with a friendly hello and advanced to the point where I generally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. The majority of people would disrupt me now, and state that a lot of ladies in the house do what I do, stop and chat with the other women. I have two replies. One, I'm male, and two, you do not understand the half of everything. I believe it's time I offered you a total image of our street and individuals who survive on it. It will come in helpful later. It's a very little street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 separated (that's 5 structures in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a vacant home, and after that next to that is. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a huge Irish lady in her 60's. Last on this site is the separated home where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage sons.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we begin with Linda's house. Next is our house. Last on the row was a chap who worked somewhere in the City.
