We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without giving it a 2nd idea. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would find myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these females tackled their day-to-day regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of the people who stroll past your home. I began with a friendly hi and advanced to the point where I usually stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many people would disrupt me now, and state that most females at home do what I do, stop and talk with the other women. I have 2 replies. One, I'm male, and two, you don't know the half of all of it. I believe it's time I offered you a complete image of our street and individuals who reside on it. It will come in beneficial later on. It's a really small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 removed (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited house, and then beside that is. where Jody lives. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is always first with any chatter. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a big Irish woman in her 60's. Last on this site is the removed home where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage children. They remain in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the road, we start with Linda's house. She recently separated from her husband and remains in the process of moving. She remains in her mid 30's and has two pre-teen children Emma and Becky. Next is our home. I have not introduced myself yet, so now would be a great time. I'm John (28 ), and I cope with my mum Chrissie (45) and dad Bob (52 ). Next along are some newcomers. At this time in November, I didn't know their names, so-called them Dick and Helen to myself. Naturally, whenever I talked to them, I utilized terms like a neighbour to bridge this gap in my knowledge. They were a couple, in their late 30's, early 40's, and they seemed to keep themselves to themselves. Last on the row was a bloke who worked someplace in the City. I never ever spoke with him, although what I'm about to tell you, so this is the last time I discuss him.
