We all accompany this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without providing it a doubt. Here's where I vary from the rest of you. Up up until September, I had been just like you. Then in the 3rd week, a despair started to creep in. I had absolutely nothing to do, no place to go, and loads of time to eliminate. I began to get depressed.

We have a no cigarette smoking policy in our home, implemented on the bulk (me & my dad) by the minority (my mom). This implies that whenever we wish to smoke, we have to stand at the back door. From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's house and the fronts of two homes across the street. After smoking practically continually when the anxiety set in, I began to notice the comings and goings of the people in the street. I started to detect when the mums strolled their kids to school when they returned when they headed out shopping, when they took the pet dog for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would discover myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these females tackled their day-to-day routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the individuals who stroll past the home. I started with a friendly hello and progressed to the point where I usually walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. A lot of individuals would interrupt me now, and say that many females at home do what I do, talk and stop with the other ladies. It's a really little street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 separated (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a vacant house, and then next to that is. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a huge Irish lady in her 60's. Last on this site is the detached home where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage kids.

On the right-hand side of the road, we begin with Linda's home. Next is our home. Last on the row was a chap who worked someplace in the City.
