We all support this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without offering it a reservation. Here's where I differ from the rest of you. Up until September, I had been much like you. The first couple of weeks were great I. managed to get all the little jobs that accumulate done. In the third week, a despair started to creep in. I had nothing to do, nowhere to go, and loads of time to eliminate. I began to get depressed.

We have a no smoking cigarettes policy in our home, enforced on the majority (me & my dad) by the minority (my mother). This indicates that whenever we wish to smoke, we have to stand at the back door. From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's house and the fronts of two homes across the street. After cigarette smoking nearly continually when the anxiety embeded in, I started to see the comings and goings of the people in the street. I began to detect when the mums strolled their kids to school when they returned when they headed out shopping, when they took the pet dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would find myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies tackled their everyday routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the people who stroll past the home. I began with a friendly hello and advanced to the point where I usually stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. The majority of individuals would interrupt me now, and say that a lot of females at home do what I do, chat and stop with the other females. It's a really small street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 separated (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited house, and then beside that is. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a big Irish female in her 60's. Last on this site is the detached house where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage kids.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we start with Linda's home. Next is our house. Last on the row was a chap who worked somewhere in the City.
