We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without giving it a 2nd thought. November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the people who stroll past the house. I began with a friendly hey there and advanced to the point where I usually walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many people would disrupt me now, and say that the majority of women at house do what I do, stop and chat with the other ladies. It's a very small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 separated (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited house, and after that next to that is. where Jody lives. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is constantly first with any gossip. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a big Irish female in her 60's. Then last on this site is the detached house where Steve and Mandy cope with their two teenage kids. They remain in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the road, we begin with Linda's house. She recently separated from her partner and remains in the process of moving. She is in her mid 30's and has two pre-teen children Emma and Becky. Next is our home. I haven't introduced myself yet, so now would be a great time.
