I began to choose up on when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the pet for a walk, and when they sat in the garden.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the individuals who walk past the house. I began with a friendly hi and progressed to the point where I normally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat.
