We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without offering it a second thought. Setting off to work every day, concerned more about what I was going to do with the day rather than what my neighbours would be up to. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would find myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies tackled their everyday routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of the people who walk past your home. I started with a friendly hello and progressed to the point where I typically stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most people would interrupt me now, and state that many women in your home do what I do, stop and talk with the other women. I have two replies.
