From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's home and the fronts of two houses across the street. After cigarette smoking almost constantly when the anxiety set in, I started to see the comings and goings of individuals in the street. I began to detect when the mums walked their kids to school when they returned when they headed out shopping, when they took the canine for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would find myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these women set about their day-to-day regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the individuals who stroll past the home. I began with a friendly hello and progressed to the point where I usually stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. A lot of people would disrupt me now, and say that most ladies at house do what I do, stop and talk with the other women. It's a really small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 detached (that's 5 buildings in all). Next is Sheila's home, she's a big Irish woman in her 60's. Last on this site is the detached home where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage kids.

On the right-hand side of the road, we begin with Linda's home. She recently separated from her spouse and is in the procedure of moving.
