We all support this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without giving it a second thought. Here's where I vary from the rest of you. Up up until September, I had actually been just like you. We have a no smoking policy in our house, imposed on the bulk (me & my daddy) by the minority (my mother). From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's house and the fronts of two homes throughout the street. I started to select up on when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who stroll past your house. I started with a friendly hey there and advanced to the point where I usually stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many people would interrupt me now, and say that many ladies in your home do what I do, talk and stop with the other women. I have two replies. It's a really small street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 separated (that's 5 buildings in all). Next is Sheila's house, she's a big Irish woman in her 60's. Last on this site is the detached house where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage sons.

On the right-hand side of the road, we begin with Linda's home. Next is our house. Last on the row was a chap who worked somewhere in the City.
