We all support this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without offering it a reservation. Here's where I differ from the rest of you. Up till September, I had been similar to you. From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's house and the fronts of two houses across the street. After smoking cigarettes almost continually when the anxiety set in, I started to notice the comings and goings of the people in the street. I started to detect when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the pet for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would find myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies went about their everyday routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the individuals who stroll past the home. I began with a friendly hi and progressed to the point where I generally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many individuals would interrupt me now, and state that many ladies at home do what I do, stop and talk with the other females. Last on this site is the separated house where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage kids. They are in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we begin with Linda's home. Next is our home. Last on the row was a bloke who worked someplace in the City.
