All of us support this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without offering it a reservation. Here's where I differ from the rest of you. Up till September, I had actually been just like you. A semi-serious problem. It didn't stop me from doing most things, I might walk, run, and climb, however it did stop me from driving, which in turn stopped me from working. I signed up with the ranks of the long-lasting ill, continued to receive my paycheque, and sat and took it easy. The very first couple of weeks were fine I. managed to get all the little jobs that accumulate done. Then in the third week, a malaise started to sneak in. I had nothing to do, no place to go, and loads of time to kill. I started to get depressed.

We have a no smoking cigarettes policy in our home, imposed on the majority (me & my daddy) by the minority (my mother). From here, you can see the entrance to our neighbour's house and the fronts of 2 houses throughout the street. I started to pick up on when the mums strolled their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the canine for a walk, and when they sat in the garden.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of the people who stroll past your house. I started with a friendly hello and advanced to the point where I usually stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. The majority of people would interrupt me now, and say that the majority of women at home do what I do, talk and stop with the other women. I have 2 replies. One, I'm male, and two, you don't understand the half of all of it. I believe it's time I provided you a total photo of our street and individuals who live on it. It will come in useful later. It's a very little street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 separated (that's 5 structures in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited home, and after that next to that is. where Jody lives. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is always first with any chatter. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a big Irish lady in her 60's. Then last on this site is the separated home where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage children. They remain in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we begin with Linda's home. She recently separated from her hubby and is in the process of moving. She is in her mid 30's and has 2 pre-teen daughters Emma and Becky. Next is our house. I have not presented myself yet, so now would be a good time. I'm John (28 ), and I live with my mum Chrissie (45) and father Bob (52 ). Next along are some newbies. At this time in November, I didn't know their names, so-called them Dick and Helen to myself. Of course, whenever I spoke with them, I utilized terms like a neighbour to bridge this space in my understanding. They were a couple, in their late 30's, early 40's, and they appeared to keep themselves to themselves. Last on the row was a chap who worked somewhere in the City. I never talked to him, although what I'm about to tell you, so this is the last time I discuss him.
