We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without giving it a second thought. I began to pick up on when the mums strolled their kids to school when they returned when they headed out shopping, when they took the canine for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would discover myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these females set about their daily routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of individuals who stroll past your house. I started with a friendly hey there and advanced to the point where I generally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most people would disrupt me now, and say that most females at home do what I do, stop and chat with the other women. I have two replies. It's a very small street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 separated (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a vacant home, and then next to that is. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a big Irish woman in her 60's. Last on this site is the separated home where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage boys.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we start with Linda's home. She just recently separated from her spouse and remains in the process of moving. She is in her mid 30's and has two pre-teen daughters Emma and Becky. Next is our home. I haven't introduced myself yet, so now would be a great time. I'm John (28 ), and I cope with my mum Chrissie (45) and father Bob (52 ). Next along are some newcomers. At this time in November, I didn't understand their names, so-called them Dick and Helen to myself. Obviously, whenever I talked to them, I utilized terms like a neighbour to bridge this space in my knowledge. They were a couple, in their late 30's, early 40's, and they appeared to keep themselves to themselves. Last on the row was a bloke who worked someplace in the City. I never talked to him, although what I'm about to tell you, so this is the last time I mention him.
