We all accompany this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without offering it a second thought. Here's where I vary from the rest of you. Up until September, I had actually been much like you. We have a no smoking cigarettes policy in our house, implemented on the majority (me & my dad) by the minority (my mother). From here, you can see the entrance to our neighbour's house and the fronts of two homes across the street. I started to choose up on when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the pet for a walk, and when they sat in the garden.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of the people who stroll past the house. I began with a friendly hi and progressed to the point where I generally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. It's a very little street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 removed (that's 5 structures in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited house, and after that next to that is. where Jody lives. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is constantly first with any chatter. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a huge Irish woman in her 60's. Last on this website is the detached home where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage children. They are in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the road, we begin with Linda's house. She recently separated from her hubby and remains in the process of moving. She remains in her mid 30's and has two pre-teen daughters Emma and Becky. Next is our home. I haven't introduced myself yet, so now would be a good time. I'm John (28 ), and I deal with my mum Chrissie (45) and papa Bob (52 ). Next along are some newcomers. I never spoke to him, although what I'm about to tell you, so this is the last time I mention him.
