All of us go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without providing it a doubt. Here's where I differ from the rest of you. Then in the 3rd week, a malaise began to creep in. I had nothing to do, nowhere to go, and loads of time to eliminate. I began to get depressed.

We have a no smoking cigarettes policy in our home, enforced on the majority (me & my father) by the minority (my mother). From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's home and the fronts of two houses throughout the street. I started to pick up on when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of the people who walk past your home. I began with a friendly hey there and advanced to the point where I usually stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most people would disrupt me now, and state that the majority of females in your home do what I do, chat and stop with the other women. I have two replies. One, I'm male, and two, you do not know the half of it all. I think it's time I gave you a total photo of our street and individuals who live on it. It will come in beneficial later on. It's a very little street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 separated (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a vacant house, and then next to that is. where Jody lives. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is constantly first with any gossip. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a huge Irish woman in her 60's. Then last on this website is the separated house where Steve and Mandy deal with their 2 teenage boys. They remain in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we start with Linda's house. Next is our home. Last on the row was a chap who worked somewhere in the City.
