November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who walk past the house. I started with a friendly hi and advanced to the point where I usually walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most people would interrupt me now, and state that a lot of women at house do what I do, stop and talk with the other females. It's a extremely small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 removed (that's 5 buildings in all).
