I began to detect when the mums walked their kids to school when they returned when they went out shopping, when they took the pet for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would find myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these females tackled their everyday regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the people who walk past the home. I started with a friendly hello and progressed to the point where I normally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat.
