We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without offering it a 2nd idea. I started to pick up on when the mums strolled their kids to school when they came back when they headed out shopping, when they took the pet dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would find myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these females went about their daily routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the people who walk past the home. I started with a friendly hey there and advanced to the point where I usually walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many people would disrupt me now, and say that most ladies at house do what I do, chat and stop with the other females. It's a very little street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 detached (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited house, and then next to that is. where Jody lives. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is always very first with any chatter. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a big Irish lady in her 60's. Then last on this website is the detached home where Steve and Mandy cope with their 2 teenage sons. They are in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we start with Linda's home. Next is our house. Last on the row was a bloke who worked somewhere in the City.
