We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without providing it a second idea. Setting off to work every day, concerned more about what I was going to do with the day rather than what my neighbours would be up to. I started to detect when the mums walked their kids to school when they returned when they went out shopping, when they took the pet dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would discover myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these females went about their day-to-day routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of individuals who stroll past the house. I started with a friendly hi and advanced to the point where I usually walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many people would disrupt me now, and state that many ladies in your home do what I do, stop and talk with the other women. I have 2 replies. One, I'm male, and two, you don't know the half of it all. I think it's time I provided you a total photo of our street and the people who reside on it. It will be available in helpful in the future. It's a very small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 detached (that's 5 structures in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited home, and after that next to that is. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a huge Irish female in her 60's. Last on this site is the detached home where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage sons.

On the right-hand side of the road, we start with Linda's home. She recently separated from her husband and is in the procedure of moving. She remains in her mid 30's and has two pre-teen daughters Emma and Becky. Next is our house. I haven't introduced myself yet, so now would be a good time. I'm John (28 ), and I deal with my mum Chrissie (45) and papa Bob (52 ). Next along are some newcomers. At this time in November, I didn't understand their names, so-called them Dick and Helen to myself. Of course, whenever I spoke to them, I used terms like a neighbour to bridge this gap in my understanding. They were a couple, in their late 30's, early 40's, and they appeared to keep themselves to themselves. Last on the row was a bloke who worked someplace in the City. I never ever spoke with him, even though what I'm about to tell you, so this is the last time I mention him.
