We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without offering it a doubt. Here's where I differ from the rest of you. Up until September, I had been similar to you. We have a no smoking policy in our house, enforced on the bulk (me & my daddy) by the minority (my mom). From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's home and the fronts of two homes across the street. I started to choose up on when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who stroll past the home. I started with a friendly hi and advanced to the point where I generally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most people would disrupt me now, and state that many women at home do what I do, talk and stop with the other ladies. It's a very small street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 removed (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited home, and after that next to that is. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a big Irish lady in her 60's. Last on this site is the separated house where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage kids.

On the right-hand side of the road, we begin with Linda's house. Next is our home. Last on the row was a chap who worked somewhere in the City.
