All of us go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without providing it a second thought. Here's where I differ from the rest of you. We have a no cigarette smoking policy in our home, enforced on the majority (me & my father) by the minority (my mother). This indicates that whenever we wish to smoke, we need to stand at the back entrance. From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's house and the fronts of two homes across the street. After cigarette smoking nearly continuously when the anxiety embeded in, I started to see the comings and goings of the people in the street. I began to detect when the mums walked their kids to school when they returned when they headed out shopping, when they took the pet for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would find myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these women tackled their everyday regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of individuals who stroll past the house. I began with a friendly hey there and advanced to the point where I generally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most people would disrupt me now, and state that most women in the house do what I do, stop and chat with the other women. I have 2 replies. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a huge Irish lady in her 60's. Last on this site is the detached house where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage boys. They remain in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we start with Linda's house. Next is our house. Last on the row was a chap who worked somewhere in the City.
