We have a no cigarette smoking policy in our house, enforced on the bulk (me & my dad) by the minority (my mother). This indicates that whenever we wish to smoke, we have to stand at the back door. From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's home and the fronts of two houses across the street. After cigarette smoking almost constantly when the anxiety set in, I began to discover the comings and goings of the people in the street. I began to pick up on when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they headed out shopping, when they took the canine for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would find myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these females tackled their daily routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of individuals who walk past your house. I began with a friendly hi and progressed to the point where I normally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. The majority of people would disrupt me now, and state that the majority of females in the house do what I do, talk and stop with the other women. I have 2 replies. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is constantly first with any chatter. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a big Irish lady in her 60's. Last on this website is the removed house where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage children. They remain in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the road, we start with Linda's home. Next is our home. Last on the row was a chap who worked somewhere in the City.
