We have a no cigarette smoking policy in our home, imposed on the bulk (me & my daddy) by the minority (my mother). This indicates that whenever we wish to smoke, we have to stand at the back entrance. From here, you can see the entrance to our neighbour's house and the fronts of 2 homes across the street. After cigarette smoking practically continually when the anxiety set in, I began to discover the comings and goings of the people in the street. I began to detect when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the pet dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would find myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these females tackled their daily routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of individuals who stroll past your home. I started with a friendly hey there and progressed to the point where I generally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many people would disrupt me now, and say that the majority of ladies in the house do what I do, stop and talk with the other women. I have two replies. One, I'm male, and 2, you don't understand the half of it all. I think it's time I provided you a complete image of our street and the people who reside on it. It will come in helpful later on. It's a very little street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 detached (that's 5 structures in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a vacant house, and then beside that is. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a big Irish woman in her 60's. Last on this site is the separated home where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage sons.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we start with Linda's home. Next is our house. Last on the row was a bloke who worked somewhere in the City.
