We all accompany this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without providing it a second thought. Here's where I differ from the rest of you. We have a no cigarette smoking policy in our house, implemented on the majority (me & my dad) by the minority (my mom). From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's house and the fronts of two houses across the street. I started to pick up on when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the canine for a walk, and when they sat in the garden.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of individuals who walk past your home. I started with a friendly hey there and advanced to the point where I generally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most people would interrupt me now, and state that the majority of ladies in the house do what I do, stop and talk with the other women. I have two replies. Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited home, and after that beside that is. where Jody lives. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is constantly first with any chatter. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a huge Irish lady in her 60's. Last on this site is the separated home where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage children. They are in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the road, we start with Linda's home. Next is our house. Last on the row was a bloke who worked somewhere in the City.
