From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's home and the fronts of 2 houses throughout the street. I started to choose up on when the mums strolled their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the pet for a walk, and when they sat in the garden.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who walk past the house. I started with a friendly hello and progressed to the point where I generally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat.
