From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's house and the fronts of 2 homes across the street. After smoking nearly constantly when the depression embeded in, I started to see the comings and goings of individuals in the street. I started to detect when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they headed out shopping, when they took the canine for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would discover myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies set about their day-to-day regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of the people who walk past your house. I started with a friendly hey there and advanced to the point where I generally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. On the right-hand side of the roadway, we begin with Linda's home. Next is our home. Last on the row was a bloke who worked someplace in the City.
