After cigarette smoking nearly constantly when the depression embeded in, I started to observe the comings and goings of the people in the street. I started to detect when the mums strolled their kids to school when they returned when they headed out shopping, when they took the dog for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would find myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these women set about their daily routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of the people who walk past your house. I started with a friendly hi and advanced to the point where I normally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. On the right-hand side of the road, we begin with Linda's home. She recently separated from her husband and is in the process of moving. She remains in her mid 30's and has 2 pre-teen children Emma and Becky. Next is our house. I have not presented myself yet, so now would be a great time.
