All of us support this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without giving it a second thought. Here's where I vary from the rest of you. Up until September, I had actually been much like you. We have a no smoking cigarettes policy in our home, implemented on the majority (me & my father) by the minority (my mother). This means that whenever we want to smoke, we have to stand at the back door. From here, you can see the entrance to our neighbour's home and the fronts of 2 houses across the street. After smoking nearly continuously when the depression embeded in, I started to notice the comings and goings of individuals in the street. I started to pick up on when the mums walked their kids to school when they returned when they headed out shopping, when they took the canine for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would discover myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these women tackled their day-to-day routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of the people who walk past your home. I started with a friendly hi and progressed to the point where I normally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many people would disrupt me now, and state that many women in the house do what I do, stop and chat with the other women. I have two replies.
