We have a no smoking policy in our house, imposed on the bulk (me & my dad) by the minority (my mother). This means that whenever we wish to smoke, we have to stand at the back door. From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's house and the fronts of two homes across the street. After smoking almost constantly when the anxiety embeded in, I started to discover the comings and goings of the people in the street. I started to detect when the mums strolled their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the pet dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would find myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these females went about their day-to-day routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who stroll past your house. I began with a friendly hey there and advanced to the point where I normally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most people would disrupt me now, and say that the majority of ladies in your home do what I do, stop and talk with the other women. I have 2 replies.
