We have a no smoking policy in our home, imposed on the bulk (me & my dad) by the minority (my mom). From here, you can see the entrance to our neighbour's home and the fronts of 2 homes throughout the street. I started to choose up on when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the pet for a walk, and when they sat in the garden.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of the people who walk past your house. I began with a friendly hey there and advanced to the point where I generally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most people would disrupt me now, and say that most ladies in your home do what I do, stop and talk with the other women. I have two replies. It's a really small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 removed (that's 5 buildings in all). She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is always very first with any chatter. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a big Irish female in her 60's. Then last on this site is the detached home where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage boys. They remain in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we start with Linda's house. Next is our home. Last on the row was a chap who worked someplace in the City.
