We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without giving it a 2nd idea. Setting off to work every day, worried more about what I was going to do with the day rather than what my neighbours would be up to. After smoking practically continually when the depression embeded in, I began to discover the comings and goings of individuals in the street. I started to pick up on when the mums strolled their kids to school when they returned when they went out shopping, when they took the canine for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would find myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these females set about their everyday regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who stroll past your home. I began with a friendly hello and progressed to the point where I typically walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many people would interrupt me now, and state that many ladies at home do what I do, talk and stop with the other women. I have two replies. One, I'm male, and two, you don't know the half of all of it. I believe it's time I gave you a total photo of our street and the people who live on it. It will be available in helpful later on. It's a very small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 separated (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited home, and then next to that is. where Jody lives. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is constantly very first with any chatter. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a huge Irish woman in her 60's. Then last on this website is the removed home where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage kids. They are in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we start with Linda's house. Next is our home. Last on the row was a bloke who worked someplace in the City.
