With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would discover myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these women went about their daily regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the individuals who stroll past the house. I started with a friendly hi and advanced to the point where I generally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. A lot of people would interrupt me now, and say that the majority of females at house do what I do, stop and talk with the other women.
