November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the individuals who stroll past the house. I began with a friendly hey there and progressed to the point where I normally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most people would disrupt me now, and say that many ladies at home do what I do, chat and stop with the other women. It's a very small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 detached (that's 5 buildings in all). She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is constantly first with any chatter. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a big Irish woman in her 60's. Then last on this site is the separated house where Steve and Mandy cope with their 2 teenage kids. They are in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we start with Linda's home. She recently separated from her spouse and is in the procedure of moving. She remains in her mid 30's and has 2 pre-teen children Emma and Becky. Next is our home. I have not introduced myself yet, so now would be a great time.
