All of us support this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without giving it a second thought. Here's where I differ from the rest of you. Up until September, I had actually been much like you. Setting off to work every day, concerned more about what I was going to make with the day rather than what my neighbours would depend on. I established a problem with my knee. A semi-serious issue. It didn't stop me from doing most things, I might walk, run, and climb, but it did stop me from driving, which in turn stopped me from working. I joined the ranks of the long-lasting ill, continued to receive my paycheque, and sat and took it easy. The very first few weeks were great I. managed to get all the little jobs that accumulate done. In the 3rd week, a malaise started to creep in. I had nothing to do, nowhere to go, and loads of time to eliminate. I started to get depressed.

We have a no smoking policy in our house, implemented on the majority (me & my daddy) by the minority (my mother). From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's house and the fronts of two houses throughout the street. I began to pick up on when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the individuals who stroll past the home. I began with a friendly hi and advanced to the point where I normally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. The majority of individuals would interrupt me now, and say that many women at house do what I do, stop and talk with the other females. It's a really little street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 detached (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited home, and then next to that is. where Jody lives. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is always first with any gossip. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a big Irish female in her 60's. Then last on this site is the removed house where Steve and Mandy cope with their 2 teenage children. They are in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we begin with Linda's house. She recently separated from her husband and is in the process of moving. She is in her mid 30's and has 2 pre-teen daughters Emma and Becky. Next is our house. I haven't introduced myself yet, so now would be a great time. I'm John (28 ), and I cope with my mum Chrissie (45) and dad Bob (52 ). Next along are some newbies. I never spoke to him, despite the fact that what I'm about to tell you, so this is the last time I discuss him.
