We all accompany this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without offering it a second thought. Here's where I vary from the rest of you. I began to select up on when the mums strolled their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the canine for a walk, and when they sat in the garden.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the people who stroll past the house. I started with a friendly hey there and advanced to the point where I usually walk down to the garden gate and have a chat.
