We all support this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without providing it a second thought. Here's where I vary from the rest of you. Up till September, I had actually been similar to you. From here, you can see the entrance to our neighbour's home and the fronts of two homes throughout the street. I started to choose up on when the mums strolled their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the pet dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who walk past the house. I started with a friendly hi and advanced to the point where I normally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. A lot of individuals would interrupt me now, and say that most ladies at house do what I do, talk and stop with the other females. It's a very little street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 separated (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited house, and after that next to that is. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a big Irish lady in her 60's. Last on this site is the separated home where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage sons.

On the right-hand side of the road, we start with Linda's house. She recently separated from her spouse and is in the process of moving.
