We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without providing it a 2nd idea. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would find myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these females set about their everyday regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of individuals who walk past the house. I started with a friendly hi and progressed to the point where I usually walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most people would interrupt me now, and state that most ladies in the house do what I do, chat and stop with the other women. I have two replies. One, I'm male, and two, you do not understand the half of all of it. I think it's time I provided you a complete image of our street and individuals who survive on it. It will be available in helpful in the future. It's a very small street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 removed (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a vacant house, and then next to that is. where Jody lives. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is always very first with any gossip. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a big Irish female in her 60's. Then last on this site is the removed house where Steve and Mandy deal with their 2 teenage sons. They remain in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the road, we begin with Linda's house. Next is our home. Last on the row was a chap who worked someplace in the City.
