We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without providing it a 2nd idea. I began to pick up on when the mums walked their kids to school when they returned when they went out shopping, when they took the pet for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would find myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies went about their everyday regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of individuals who stroll past the house. I started with a friendly hello and advanced to the point where I generally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. The majority of people would interrupt me now, and state that a lot of females in the house do what I do, stop and chat with the other women. I have two replies. One, I'm male, and 2, you do not understand the half of everything. I think it's time I offered you a total photo of our street and individuals who live on it. It will come in beneficial in the future. It's a really little street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 removed (that's 5 structures in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a vacant home, and then beside that is. where Jody lives. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is always first with any chatter. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a big Irish female in her 60's. Then last on this site is the detached home where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage children. They are in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we start with Linda's house. Next is our house. Last on the row was a chap who worked someplace in the City.
