We have a no cigarette smoking policy in our home, implemented on the bulk (me & my father) by the minority (my mom). This means that whenever we wish to smoke, we need to stand at the back entrance. From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's home and the fronts of two homes across the street. After cigarette smoking nearly continuously when the depression embeded in, I started to observe the comings and goings of individuals in the street. I started to pick up on when the mums strolled their kids to school when they returned when they went out shopping, when they took the pet for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would discover myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies tackled their daily regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of individuals who stroll past your home. I began with a friendly hello and advanced to the point where I generally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat.
