With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would find myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies set about their day-to-day regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who walk past the house. I began with a friendly hello and progressed to the point where I typically walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many people would interrupt me now, and state that the majority of ladies at home do what I do, stop and chat with the other women. I have two replies. Last on this website is the separated house where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage children. They are in their late 30's.
