We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without giving it a 2nd idea. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would find myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these women tackled their daily regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who stroll past the house. I started with a friendly hello and progressed to the point where I normally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most people would interrupt me now, and state that the majority of ladies at home do what I do, chat and stop with the other women. I have 2 replies. It's a extremely small street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 separated (that's 5 structures in all). On the right-hand side of the road, we start with Linda's house. She just recently separated from her partner and remains in the process of moving.
