I had nothing to do, nowhere to go, and loads of time to eliminate. I started to get depressed.

We have a no cigarette smoking policy in our house, implemented on the bulk (me & my father) by the minority (my mom). From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's house and the fronts of two homes across the street. I began to pick up on when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the pet dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the people who walk past the home. I started with a friendly hi and advanced to the point where I usually walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most people would disrupt me now, and state that the majority of women at house do what I do, stop and chat with the other females. It's a really small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 detached (that's 5 structures in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a vacant home, and then next to that is. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a big Irish lady in her 60's. Last on this site is the separated home where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage boys.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we start with Linda's home. Next is our house. Last on the row was a chap who worked someplace in the City.
