We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without giving it a 2nd idea. Setting off to work every day, worried more about what I was going to do with the day rather than what my neighbours would be up to. I began to pick up on when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the dog for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would find myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies went about their everyday regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the individuals who walk past the home. I began with a friendly hi and advanced to the point where I usually stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. A lot of people would disrupt me now, and say that the majority of ladies at home do what I do, chat and stop with the other women. It's a really little street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 separated (that's 5 structures in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited house, and then next to that is. where Jody lives. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is always very first with any gossip. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a big Irish woman in her 60's. Last on this website is the removed house where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage sons. They are in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we begin with Linda's home. She recently separated from her hubby and remains in the procedure of moving. She is in her mid 30's and has two pre-teen children Emma and Becky. Next is our home. I haven't introduced myself yet, so now would be a great time. I never ever spoke with him, although what I'm about to inform you, so this is the last time I mention him.
