We all support this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without providing it a reservation. Here's where I differ from the rest of you. From here, you can see the entrance to our neighbour's home and the fronts of 2 houses across the street. After cigarette smoking almost constantly when the anxiety embeded in, I started to notice the comings and goings of the people in the street. I began to pick up on when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they headed out shopping, when they took the canine for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would discover myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies set about their day-to-day routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the individuals who walk past the house. I started with a friendly hi and progressed to the point where I usually walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most individuals would interrupt me now, and say that most women at home do what I do, chat and stop with the other females. It's a really small street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 detached (that's 5 structures in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a vacant house, and after that next to that is. where Jody lives. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is constantly very first with any gossip. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a huge Irish lady in her 60's. Last on this site is the detached house where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage kids. They remain in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we start with Linda's house. Next is our home. Last on the row was a bloke who worked someplace in the City.
