We all support this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without giving it a second thought. Here's where I vary from the rest of you. Up till September, I had been much like you. From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's home and the fronts of 2 houses throughout the street. I began to pick up on when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who stroll past the house. I started with a friendly hi and advanced to the point where I usually walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. A lot of people would disrupt me now, and state that a lot of ladies at house do what I do, chat and stop with the other ladies. It's a very small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 detached (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited home, and after that beside that is. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a huge Irish lady in her 60's. Last on this site is the separated house where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage boys.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we start with Linda's home. She just recently separated from her hubby and is in the procedure of moving. She is in her mid 30's and has two pre-teen children Emma and Becky. Next is our home. I haven't presented myself yet, so now would be a good time. I never ever spoke with him, although what I'm about to inform you, so this is the last time I mention him.
