With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would find myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies went about their daily regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the people who walk past the home. I began with a friendly hello and advanced to the point where I usually stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most individuals would disrupt me now, and state that most females at home do what I do, chat and stop with the other women.
