With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would find myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these women tackled their day-to-day regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of individuals who walk past your home. I began with a friendly hey there and progressed to the point where I typically walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most people would disrupt me now, and state that the majority of women in the house do what I do, stop and chat with the other women. I have 2 replies. It's a very little street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 separated (that's 5 buildings in all). Next is Sheila's home, she's a big Irish lady in her 60's. Last on this website is the detached house where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage sons.

On the right-hand side of the road, we start with Linda's house. Next is our home. Last on the row was a chap who worked someplace in the City.
