From here, you can see the entrance to our neighbour's house and the fronts of two homes across the street. After smoking nearly continually when the depression embeded in, I began to see the comings and goings of individuals in the street. I began to pick up on when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the pet dog for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would discover myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these females set about their daily regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the people who stroll past the house. I started with a friendly hey there and progressed to the point where I generally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. The majority of individuals would interrupt me now, and say that a lot of ladies at house do what I do, stop and talk with the other females.
