I started to pick up on when the mums walked their kids to school when they returned when they went out shopping, when they took the canine for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the people who stroll past the house. I began with a friendly hi and progressed to the point where I generally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat.
