From here, you can see the entrance to our neighbour's home and the fronts of two houses across the street. After smoking practically constantly when the anxiety set in, I started to discover the comings and goings of individuals in the street. I started to detect when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the canine for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would find myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these women went about their day-to-day routines.
