We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without providing it a second idea. Setting off to work every day, worried more about what I was going to do with the day rather than what my neighbours would be up to. After smoking nearly continually when the depression embeded in, I started to discover the comings and goings of individuals in the street. I began to detect when the mums walked their kids to school when they returned when they went out shopping, when they took the canine for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would find myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies set about their everyday routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of individuals who stroll past your house. I began with a friendly hey there and advanced to the point where I generally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many people would disrupt me now, and state that many females in the house do what I do, stop and talk with the other women. I have two replies. One, I'm male, and two, you do not know the half of all of it. I believe it's time I offered you a complete photo of our street and individuals who live on it. It will come in helpful later. It's a really small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 removed (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited home, and then next to that is. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a big Irish female in her 60's. Last on this site is the removed house where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage kids.

On the right-hand side of the road, we begin with Linda's house. Next is our house. Last on the row was a chap who worked somewhere in the City.
