From here, you can see the entrance to our neighbour's house and the fronts of 2 homes across the street. After smoking almost constantly when the anxiety set in, I started to see the comings and goings of individuals in the street. I started to detect when the mums walked their kids to school when they returned when they went out shopping, when they took the canine for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would find myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these females tackled their day-to-day routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who walk past the home. I started with a friendly hey there and progressed to the point where I typically stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. A lot of people would disrupt me now, and state that many females at home do what I do, stop and chat with the other women.
