This suggests that whenever we wish to smoke, we need to stand at the back entrance. From here, you can see the entrance to our neighbour's home and the fronts of two homes across the street. After smoking practically constantly when the anxiety embeded in, I started to see the comings and goings of the people in the street. I started to detect when the mums walked their kids to school when they returned when they went out shopping, when they took the pet for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would find myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies went about their day-to-day routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the individuals who walk past the house. I started with a friendly hello and advanced to the point where I usually stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many individuals would disrupt me now, and say that many ladies at home do what I do, talk and stop with the other ladies. It's a really little street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 separated (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a vacant home, and after that next to that is. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a big Irish female in her 60's. Last on this site is the removed house where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage boys.
