We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without giving it a second idea. I started to pick up on when the mums walked their kids to school when they returned when they headed out shopping, when they took the canine for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would find myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these females set about their daily routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of the people who walk past the house. I started with a friendly hey there and progressed to the point where I typically walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. The majority of people would interrupt me now, and say that most ladies at home do what I do, stop and talk with the other women. I have two replies. One, I'm male, and two, you do not understand the half of everything. I think it's time I gave you a total picture of our street and the people who reside on it. It will come in beneficial later. It's a really small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 separated (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a vacant home, and then beside that is. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a huge Irish lady in her 60's. Last on this website is the detached home where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage sons.

On the right-hand side of the road, we begin with Linda's home. Next is our home. Last on the row was a chap who worked someplace in the City.
