We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without giving it a second thought. Here's where I differ from the rest of you. November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the people who walk past the home. I began with a friendly hello and progressed to the point where I usually walk down to the garden gate and have a chat.
