I began to pick up on when the mums walked their kids to school when they returned when they went out shopping, when they took the pet for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would find myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these females tackled their day-to-day routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the individuals who walk past the home. I began with a friendly hey there and advanced to the point where I generally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many people would interrupt me now, and state that many females at home do what I do, stop and chat with the other women. It's a very little street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 separated (that's 5 structures in all).
